Pairwave is a web app that keeps your music playlists in sync across Spotify, YouTube, TIDAL, SoundCloud and Subsonic — and even a Discogs wantlist. You connect the music accounts you already use, and Pairwave matches tracks by ISRC (or smart fuzzy matching) and keeps your linked playlists converged to the same set of songs.

To do this, Pairwave asks permission to access your accounts on those services — including your Google / YouTube account — solely to read your playlists and add matching tracks on your behalf so your linked playlists stay in sync. What Pairwave does

Pairwave is a web application for keeping music playlists in sync across the streaming services you already use. You link a playlist on one service to a playlist on another, and Pairwave keeps both converged to the same set of songs: it reads the tracks on each side, matches them across services by ISRC or by fuzzy title / artist / duration matching, then adds whatever is missing. The sync is append-only — Pairwave adds tracks, it never removes them. The supported services are Spotify, YouTube, TIDAL, SoundCloud and Subsonic, plus a Discogs wantlist as a source.

Why Pairwave asks for access to your Google Account

Connecting YouTube is optional. If you do connect it, Pairwave requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube permission on your Google Account, and uses it for exactly two things: reading the playlists you own, so it knows which songs are already there, and adding matching tracks to the playlists you chose to link. It does not delete anything, does not post on your behalf, does not use your data for advertising or profiling, and does not share it with third parties. Your access tokens are encrypted at rest, and you can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

Pairwave's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The full detail of what is stored, for how long, and how to delete it is in the Pairwave privacy policy.

Three steps to one library

    Connect your accounts

    Sign in with any supported music service — no password. The first one you connect becomes your account; add the rest, and a Discogs wantlist too, under one identity.

  2. 02

    Link two or more playlists

    Pick a playlist on each platform and link them into a sync group. Tracks are matched across services by ISRC, or by smart fuzzy matching when there isn't one.

    Sync it your way

    Choose autosync — every playlist converges to the append-only union — or master-slave, where one source leads and the rest mirror it. On demand or on a schedule, with every threshold under your control.

Every parameter in your hands

Pairwave is for people who want to get hands-on and sync on their own terms. Tune the match thresholds, decide what's auto-added versus sent to a review queue, bias each provider — nothing is a black box.

Autosync or master-slave

Autosync converges every linked playlist to the union of all their tracks. Prefer a single source of truth? Switch a group to master-slave — masters stay read-only and the others just mirror their tracks.

Cross-platform matching

Tracks are matched by ISRC when available, and by fuzzy title / artist / duration scoring when it isn't — with a review queue for the close calls you'd rather decide yourself.

Append-only by default

In autosync a track is only ever added, never silently removed — so the library you built up never disappears behind your back unless you explicitly prune it.

On demand or on a schedule

Run a pass yourself the moment you want one, or let it run automatically on the cadence you pick. No always-on worker quietly draining your API quota.
